I'm not sure how you stumbled upon this page, but I'm glad you did! As this is my first (ever) post I thought I would let you know a small little bit about the random person whose page you're currently browsing...

The other morning my husband came downstairs and asked my why I was smiling. I hadn't noticed that I had been smiling because I was busy with thoughts about how great my cup of coffee smelled as I listened to a new single my most-favorite artist had released that morning. I guess I was just caught up in a little moment of content. I LOVE coffee, and [mostly country] music. I believe in finding happiness in the smallest of things. I suppose I was practicing just that when my husband groggily shuffled across the kitchen.

I wish we would all work to find pleasure in the simple nothings. Own who we are. Be present. I believe in empowerment. I want to experience as many different cultures as possible. Backpack the continents. I want to learn about others, their stories, values, beliefs, and what it is that makes them happy.

Thus, the name Caffe Melody.

P.S. That's my best friend on the left. She's pretty rad.
